Life of Kotoha is an ambient companion app. Kotoha lives her day across three cities — Tokyo, London, and San Francisco — moving from morning to night in real time. There are no goals or notifications; you simply look in, and sometimes tap to say hello.

Privacy Policy

Life of Kotoha does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

• No accounts. The app has no sign-in and no user profiles.
• No network. The app does not connect to the internet and sends nothing off your device.
• No tracking or analytics. There are no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
• No permissions. The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, calendar, or notifications.
• On-device only. All app content ships inside the app; nothing you do is recorded or shared.

Because the app collects no data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete, and no data is ever sold or shared with third parties.
